It’s been going great guns for the Dalston Energy Angels, over a hundred enquiries and around fifty surveys booked in. We’ve been so pleased with the level of local interest and have really enjoyed visiting people’s homes and giving advice on how they can make things more energy efficient. Sustainable Hackney was consulted on our views for the next Greener Hackney event. This is what we said:
We think the best thing to concentrate on at the next greener Hackney event is the built environment and the governance issues associated with it.
There is considerable conflict over the extent, quality and direction and it would be useful to discuss this with the planning department and politicians.

Hackney Marsh User Group are carrying out a survey of the woodland around the eastern fringe of Hackney Marsh this spring.
