THIS YEAR'S SUSTAINABLE HACKNEY FILMS FOR ACTION

Sustainable Hackney's UK premiere screening of Mary Janes:  The Women of Weed on 7th March went very well but then COVID-19 came along, and the rest of our film season is now unfortunately on hold.

We are not yet sure when we'll be able to show the next film but still have the following dates in mind:

  • Friday 1 May - cancelled
  • Friday 10 July - to be confirmed
  • Saturday 26 September - to be confirmed
  • Friday 20 November - to be confirmed

All films will be in the usual venue of St Paul's Church West Hackney, 182 Stoke Newington Road, with doors opening at 7pm and the films starting at 7.30pm.

Details will be posted under events on this website, but please join the Sustainable Hackney mailing list to receive updates on films and other activities.

Suggestions of full-length documentary films to screen are welcome, and please get in contact if you'd like to help research and choose a film, organise panels for the discussions that follow screenings, source sustainable local snacks and drinks for the bar, promote the events, volunteer on the night - or if you'd like to help in any other way.

We hope all films will inspire and help people take positive practical action and get involved with local campaigns and groups.
