HACKNEY COUNCIL'S SUSTAINABILITY DAY at SUSTAINABILITY/CLIMATE CRISIS

On Saturday 16th November, Hackney Council is holding its annual Sustainability Day in the Town Hall Square, E8 1EA from 10 a.m. - 3pm. There will be stalls there giving information on different aspects of sustainable living. Sustainable Hackney, including Hackney Fixers, Hackney Energy, Education for Sustainability and Hackney Fairtrade Group will have a stall. At 3pm there will be a Citizens' Assembly in the Town Hall. Steering Group meeting to finalise our response to the climate emergency declaration at Rhodes Estate Community Hall

October 30, 2019 from 7pm to 9pm
Sustainable Hackney has been holding a series of meetings to develop our response to the council's declaration  of a climate emergency.Our next steering group meeting is on Weds 30th October, 7-9pm, at the Rhodes Estate Community Centre, off Dalston Lane, when we finalise the draft document.Looking ahead, the Council is convening a Climate Emergency Citizens Assembly on Saturday 16 November.
