We'll build a new fence for our beehives using hazel coppiced in Wick Wood last winter. This is a simple but satisfying job involving weaving the flexible branches onto uprights driven into the ground. For extra excitement you can have a go at splitting the thicker branches into flexible sections.
Please aim to arrive a bit before our 11 a.m. starting time to allow for tea, milling around etc. End time depends on how much we manage to do.
Kettle & biscuits provided. Please bring something to share for lunch.
