Friends of the Earth are running an exciting new campaign (alongside the Bees!) about energy - Clean British Energy. (www.cleanbritishenergy.com). It's about Government action to support more UK renewable energy, and also encouraging people to switch their own suppliers.

We're also looking at renewables in Hackney, and at the recent Greener Hackney event (12 May) I agree to try and draw together people who were interested in generating their own renewables in the borough. So my questions to keen Sustainable Hackney members are:

- Is anyone out there keen to do more generation in the borough, and/or

- Would anyone be interested in applying for funding for innovative energy efficiency work? (http://www.innovateuk.org/content/competition-announcements/10m-for...)
