Hackney's cabinet has approved two new planning documents which will have a major influence on the future development in the borough.

• Development Management DPD development policies for the borough
• Site Allocations DPD specific sites for future development

The consultation period runs from the 16^th of July 2012 to the 25^th of September 2012.  

According to the consultation plan these plans will be available at the Hackney Service centre (1 Hillman Street) and all local libraries, and a presentation / focus group on the plans can be requested by interested local groups.

Sustainable Hackney will be developing a response to the consultation over the next few months. These are our thoughts so far, please comment!
