Hi There, I', trying to register as part of this group. Am I a member now/
Thanks.
Now I see why Stephanie mentioned she'd been discussing this with my local vicar, Julia Porter - but even St Peter's may not have as much as 10m x 15m to spare, given its very limited, mainly basement surroundings.
The modern vicarage garden might have that kind of space to spare, although other people would probably regard that as too much to offer - it's bigger than my entire back garden! - unless they can't garden their own space and positively want to do a landshare, HFW-style.
It's a scheme where trained apprentices grow food for the box scheme on small patches of land in back gardens, on church land and on estates. http://www.growingcommunities.org/food-growing/patchwork-farm/
Just seen an e-mail enquiry made by Stephanie of the De Beauvoir Association website about Growing Communities' Patchwork Farm project.
Don't know about this yet but would love to know more, please.
The plant sale was always 6th May 2-5pm, Paul just made a mistake when entering the data which he has since corrected. I work with him, so I will suggest he join the food network.
