The reality of our many environmental issues and unsustainable economic patterns can be overwhelming and disempowering. But the most compelling part of Permaculture is its aim to help design a world that we can transition into, rather then continue fighting against. Buckminster Fuller once said "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."
We will be showing the film "INHABIT", which explores the many environmental issues facing us today and examines solutions that are being applied using the ecological design lens of permaculture. Focused mostly on the Northeastern and Midwestern regions of the United States, Inhabit provides an intimate look at permaculture peoples and practices ranging from rural, suburban, and urban landscapes.
Come along to watch an inspiring film, meet interesting people, and find out more about Permaculture.
The doors open at 6:45 and the evening will start around 7:30. A small fee is asked for at the door (£4 or £2). Bar open late.
