Love South Indian food? Want to learn how to make it taste as good – if not better – than anything you’ve tried in a restaurant?

Then join Shanthini Ramanan and Radhika Mani from Papi’s Pickles, a South Indian catering, pop up and street food social enterprise, in the Made In Hackney kitchen to learn to do exactly that! Dishes will be adapted to include local produce and healthier cooking techniques.

The day’s program will include

  • How to make main dishes such as kurma, sambar and kitchadi
  • How to prepare dosa’s, tasty South Indian savoury pancakes
  • How to make delicious breads such as uthappams
  • Side sides such as chutneys and rice
  • Traditional sweets such as pongals
  • -Take home recipe sheets

Fee: *£65 (£52 concession) includes a delicious organic lunch
