Join us at a free roundtable discussion on reducing waste on post-consumer fashion. By shifting attitudes from throwaway fashion to 'made to treasure' up-cycled couture, we hope to both inspire and enable the local community to reconsider how they might reduce waste with their fashion habits.
This is the first event of the two-part 'Festival of Sustainble Fashion' taking place in North London this Autumn. We are on the lookout for keen volunteers to assist us with this event, as well as getting involved with the 'Festival for Sustainable Fashion' at the Hangar, Hackney later in November 2018. The Festival for Sustainable Fashion will consist of clothes swaps, repair stations, film screenings and a speakers platform. If this sounds like something you would like to get involved in, please get in touch - info@lcrn.org.uk or 020 3150 2023.
