Straw works is running 2 complementary one day courses side by side in Hackney City Farm's lime plastered strawbale classroom! The first day introduces strawbale building: the history, the techniques, the tools, the research and examples the second day introduces breathable plasters; the reasons why to chose them, environmental and sustainability issues, the history and the materials themselves.
