The area around the New River and Manor House has an absolute abundance of wildlife and plants and we want to teach you how to safely forage the tasty food that is available, if you know where to look!
If you want to find out more come along to the next PACT Foraging walk - These free, family friendly walks will focus this month on identifying edible flowers, nettles and horseradish which grow wild in our area.
This is a superb opportunity to learn how to make the most of the local area and get close to nature- and it's free!
Meet outside the Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, N4 2HA, near the front doors, before the walk begins and heads along the New River Walk.
PACT Wildlife and Foraging Walks will take place every 2nd Sunday of the month (except Aug, Dec and Feb) and last around an hour.
Note: Were sorry that the path is not accessible to wheelchairs and we advise that you wear suitable footwear in case of mud but hopefully the sun will shine!
