Event Description
With a mix of woodlands, riverbank and meadow, and subsoil varying from valley silt to blitz rubble to coal waste, the marshes have more interest and variation than you might expect. Walk led by local botanist Annie Chipchase.
Meet at the Community Tree Nursery.
You're welcome to bring lunch to have a picnic afterwards and look around the tree nursery and forest garden.
