About me
I have lived in Dalston for 26 years.

I was/ am s transport activist with No Through Road Campaign and London Cycling Campaign

As a community activist and founding Chair of London Fields Users Group and the Renewal Partnership I helped create the live work cultural quarter, east of London Fields.

For my professional I am the Secretary of the London housing group with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health

For 7 years I was the east London local government manager for programmes worth £45m to reduce fuel poverty, assist the vulnerable maintain their homes and reduce the number of empty properties.

I am currently self-employed on fuel poverty, climate change and elderly resident support issues.

I am a member of the steering group where I am leading on energy efficiency and fuel poverty initiatives.

Kingsland Shopping Centre Redevelopment; What we want.

I've finally sent Hackney Unites a 15 page report I wrote on the planning and regeneration theme I organised for their Dalston Peoples Festival.  We'll add a link from this site once it gets posted on their website. Since the impact of the proposed redevelopment of Kingsland Shopping Centre was a big issue throughout the Festival I've sent the developers a summary of our concerns and attach it below.
