Hello All
We are the Honey Club part of Wolff Olins (www.wolffolins.com) and a year and half ago we founded a bee-focused social enterprise called The Honey Club (www.honeyclub.org) with a local youth charity, Global Generation (http://www.globalgeneration.org.uk/).
We focus on saving bees and learning about sustainable practiceswith our local community. We bring together local business members and youngvolunteers from Global Generation to achieve our mission: to build the largest bee-friendly network in the world, starting in Kings Cross. Already we have The Guardian, Eurostar, Phaidon (publishing house) Central St Martins Design College, OMD (a media agency) and Argent (developers) as our members, who all actively participate in creating this bee friendly community we’re committed to building.
We are very excited to be hosting a Honey Tasting event at our offices (Wolff Olins, near Kings Cross) on 13th September 2012.
We will be bringing together our community, local charities, ourmembers and bee enthusiast to celebrate the success of urban beekeeping. We're asking each beekeeper or organisation to bring a bit of their honey for everyone to sample, as well as their stories, ideas and passion.
We'd love it if you be a part of this. As a fellow agency with hives we though this might be just up your street. The event would be from 5.30 to 8pm (we'd ask you to be there from 5pm to set up) and we'll provide you with a stand to display your honey.
Let me know if you'd like to be involved!
If you would like to know more please contact: zak.nur@wolffolins.com
Many thanks,
Honey Club
