Professor Anthony Hall, Globalisation Studies, University of Lethbridge, Canada has explored the survival strategies of indigenous peoples facing dispossession. His study, titled, the Bowl with One Spoon is in two volumes, American Empire and the Fourth World. and Earth into Property. The latter was chosen by The Independant newspaper as one of the top books of 2010; Naomi Klein said, "I cannot overstate the importance of this book".

Just received an update from Kevin Annett in Canada, the former United Church minister who was defrocked when he exposed the genocide of Canada's tribal children in the 'Indian Residential Schools'.
