Small grants 2016/17 first round

Hackney is launching the first round of the Hackney VCS Small Grants.  Small grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are for projects that contribute to one or both of the two Hackney Grants Programme Priorities:

1.     To promote social inclusion, encourage independence and develop personal resilience

2.     To build positive relations between different groups and communities that will maintain the high levels of community cohesion

A ring-fenced budget has also been added to the Small Grant fund for Holiday Playschemes up to £5,000.
