We're recruiting for 2 part-time jobs to help us change the food system one carrot at a time:
Barista & Farmers’ Market Worker
We are looking for a hard-working, cheery, coffee-loving person who would like nothing more than working every Saturday alongside some great small sustainable farmers and producers at Growing Communities’ Farmers’ Market. As well as being very good at making coffee you’ll need to be happy to work outside (under cover) in all weathers and to be committed to helping Growing Communities change our current damaging food system. Our coffee stall is the hub of the market and we need someone who is committed to making the market a welcoming and inclusive community space.
Delivery Worker & Veg Packer
We are looking for a hard-working, physically fit person with attention to detail to perform a range of practical tasks to ensure the smooth running of our fruit and vegetable scheme. This will include being part of the delivery team taking orders to our community collection points throughout Hackney, as well as packing the fruit and veg bags on alternate weeks. You’ll work as part of a team on a rotational shift pattern across several days of the week.
