Fundraiser & Business Developer to join a small environmental education charity

Salary: £27,007- £30,351 pa (NJC scale 28-32, incl. ILW), depending on experience, pro rata (based on a full time week of 35 hours) + benefits

Hours: 7 - 10.5 hours per week (to be negotiated)

Employment period: Temporary, maternity cover minimum 6 months, with potential for permanent position subject to review

Employment status: Employed or self-employed (to be negotiated)

Accountable to: EcoACTIVE Management Committee

Based in Hackney, ecoACTIVE is a small charity delivering education for sustainable development for people of all ages.  EcoACTIVE is looking for a new Fundraiser & Business Developer, to develop, implement and review a funding strategy, provide business development support to the organisation, and to provide regular support to the staff team on business development and fundraising issues.  Current funding comes from grants, contracts and other fee-based income.
