For our next meeting on Wednesday 10th November at 7pm we will be asking
Why is Fuel Poverty increasing and what can we do about it?
After a Positive Money introduction showing how the money system and banking cause poverty, we’ll introduce our guest presenter Ripon Ray from UCAN to give an overview of fuel supply and fuel poverty in the UK. www.onlineucan.org
He will outline some of the challenges community members may experience this winter, and ways you can save money by making minor adjustments plus potential financial support available from suppliers and the government.
We look forward to you joining us at the Minerva Community Centre, 10 Minerva Street E2 9EH.
Please enter via Treadway Street, the next road along from Minerva Street as the Minerva Street entrance is closed.
Streaming on Facebook Live from 7.30pm https://fb.me/e/1fHoeal4G
Please share the poster and details of the meeting to your networks to help support action against fuel poverty.
Warmly,
Andy Philpott
