Join WEN for a screening of the environmental film that is taking the world by storm as climate talks in Paris begin.
Directed by Avi Lewis, and inspired by Naomi Klein’s international, This Changes Everything presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines in the battle against climate change. Interwoven with these stories of struggle is Klein’s narration, connecting the carbon in the air with the economic system that put it there.
Filmed over a 211 days, nine countries, five continents and four years, it is an epic attempt to re-imagine the vast challenge of climate change. The film aims to empower people to act against climate change by encouraging them to join together.
The film will be followed by a discussion about climate change, led by Susan Buckingham, lecturer on gender and climate issues at Brunel University, and refreshments will be served!
Tickets are available from eventbrite, and we ask that you pay a suggested donation of £5, just to help us cover our costs!
