The Course
The course will provide participants with a thorough understanding of the value of trees in the urban environment, their identification and biology, the problems affecting urban trees and how to plant and care for them. The aim of the course is to develop the skills and knowledge of existing volunteers involved in tree-planting activities and to attract and train new volunteers. The workshops will include both theory and practice, providing volunteers with the confidence to lead and participate in tree-related activities on behalf of the Tree Musketeers or other groups. A course for enthusiasts, amateur or professional gardeners, fruit growers and arborists. Learn from experienced tree experts and become an advanced Musketeer. All sessions taught in Hackney. See pdf flyer above for dates and content.
