Event Description

This course is for everyone who wants to know about strawbale building but hasn’t experienced it yet. This is a one day course introducing straw bale building. Maybe you’ve seen it on Grand Designs; maybe you want to build your own studio in the garden. This is not a practical course but it covers a history of strawbale building, reasons why you would choose to use straw for building, environmental and sustainability issues, basic introduction to techniques and design, and an opportunity to ask questions of an experienced practitioner.
