Event Description
This year for May Day we will be celebrating nettles!
There will be herb walks, talks and workshops, where you'll find out about the health benefits of nettles, how they can be used to make clothing, how to cook with nettles and how to make nettle beer!
As well as stalls/demos, art and crafts workshop and a garden nature trail for children, pizzas, maypole dancing, music*, and a May Day bonfire!
*acoustic corner: bring an instrument along (or sing), share a song or have a jam.
