Please come to the Stop Trident march and rally.  This is important as the Government will make a decision on renewing Trident this year.  

It's 46 years since Britain signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty so more than high time that we got rid of our nuclear weapons of mass destruction.  If Trident is replaced nukes will be with us another 40 years.  And the cost is eye-watering: £183 BILLION over its lifetime according to the Government's own figures.  Let's spend it on health, education, welfare, the environment, developing a sustainable economy, peace and conflict resolution instead.   

Labour Party members and supporters are encouraged to march in that section to show Labour MPs just what the membership think of renewing nukes.   Assemble 12 noon at Marble Arch.  Rally after the march at 2pm in Trafalgar Square.
