Hosted by Hackney Council in partnership with Abney Park Trust, this talk explores the biodiversity of Abney Park to mark the start of the National Lottery Heritage funded improvement project that begins on site later this year.
Russell Miller is a political and environmental activist who has lived in Dalston for 30 years. Russell is a tree and ecology consultant specialising in old trees and invertebrates. He has studied Abney for over 20 years.
He is chair of the Ancient Tree Forum, and a founder of the Tree Musketeers and Sustainable Hackney. He also acts as Ecology Adviser to the Abney Park Restoration Project.
