The group wants to bring some new people and new ideas to support it to grow, and tackle pressing local and national environmental justice issues.

They have run many successful campaigns in the past, including around divesting from fossil fuels, improving air quality and protecting pollinators. They have worked with  local councils and other local groups in the past, and are keen to do more and reach more people.

This is a really exciting year for climate action, in the run up to COP26, and they want to make their voice heard locally and nationally!

Here's what will be covered:

• 6:45 - 6:55: Welcome everyone and together go through the purpose of the re-launch

• 6:55 - 7:05: Discuss the vision for Hackney and Tower Hamlets. What do we want our boroughs to look like in 5 -10 years?

• 7:05 - 7:25: Go through the current issues in our boroughs. Discuss about the issues that we would like to tackle collectively

• 7:25 - 7:45: Brainstorm together about the solutions we would like to work on and implement to tackle these issues

• 7:45 - 7:50: Review the history of the group and go through some of the successful campaigns

• 7:50 - 08:00: Align on the next steps and start planning for our next meetings!
