Did you know that since March 2021 the Bank of England has not just a duty to include environmental considerations when deciding policy but also has a mandate to make this happen?
We will open this up and ask if indeed the BoE ought to be deciding this, and whether the government also has a responsibility to do more and take the lead on transitioning to greener policies during COP26 in October this year.
If you care about the future economic landscape and want a say in how it affects you then please come to the PMTHH meeting on Wednesday 11th August at 7pm to share your stories, concerns and hopes.
If you want to find out more about this, please read the research paper from Positive Money on Greening Finance to Build Back Better: A UK Roadmap Ahead of COP26
