Permaculture can be about gardening but it is also about design productive and resilient systems, addressing the issues of access to affordable food and energy, education, access to land and supporting the local economy.
Permaculture can also be about repairing degraded environments as well as engage people towards the regeneration of their neighbourhoods in urban and rural environments.
The full 72 hour Permaculture Design Course will take place at Mudchute City Farm, http://www.mudchute.org/, an inspiring hub of East London.
