While the city has a rich culture of philanthropy, the giving landscape is changing. We have seen a decline in public spending on the voluntary sector, necessitating a reliance on new sources of funding. What can be done to ensure that those who can give, while those in need get the support they need?

Our new landmark report, More, Better, Together: A strategic review of giving in London, presents a comparative assessment of the state of philanthropy in London today – covering giving by trusts and foundations, the general public, corporates and through social investment – and sets out an an agenda for strengthening giving across the capital.
