London is a city of extremes, where persistent poverty and disadvantage sit alongside high concentrations of wealth. While the city has a rich culture of philanthropy, the giving landscape is changing. We have seen a decline in public spending on the voluntary sector, necessitating a reliance on new sources of funding. What can be done to ensure that those who can give, while those in need get the support they need?
