FPA are planning a half day online conference entitled "Making Green Come True". The idea is to give residents an opportunity to highlight the gap between green promises and reality, share experience, build alliances, and add to pressure for accountability in housing (this first event) and in heating (a second one in the new year). There are many aspects to this, including what is happening with the Green Homes Grant, disastrous cavity wall insulation retrofits, new requirements mooted for the private rented sector, provisions for fire safety and materials.  

Among other things we are hoping to give space both for people who have had disastrous experiences with retrofitting insulation, and to people who need insulation, and basic home repairs and improvements, and have had to fight for them, with little success.
