Introduction to Herbalism Workshop

Want to improve your health and wellbeing? Don’t like using pharmaceuticals but unsure how to use natural remedies for home treatable ailments for yourself and family? Then this workshop is for you! Led by medical herbalist Lara Beans, this day long session will give you the skills and confidence to make effective home remedies from kitchen herbs, spices and plants from your garden.
The workshop will cover:
-Herb 101 – what plants to use to treat what
-Treating common ailments – colds, headaches, athletes foot -How to use fresh herbs and how to preserve herbs
-Making herbal teas, tonic vinegars and ointments
-Take home recipe sheets and information
Fee: *£65 (inc a free organic lunch)
*Fee is used to fund our program of free courses to vulnerable and low-income community groups
