A group I organise with, Reclaim the Power is putting on an info night and party at the Hive Dalston social centre (260-264 Kingsland Road). 

This will be an informal evening of short films from previous climate mobilisations, short talks from people who have taken principled direct action on the political failure to tackle climate change, and most importantly, socialising and fun! 

Come and find out why the COP21 climate talks this December in Paris are significant, what grassroots groups are doing to demonstrate against these corporate-dominated UN climate talks (officially sponsored by companies such as EDF, Renault Nissan, Axa, Air France...), and what our plans are for showcasing the just, sustainable future we want to see.  We'll also share details about how you can come to Paris on very cheap coaches or relatively inexpensive Eurostar. Everyone is welcome, and spread the word!
