Political rivals will vie for votes at the Arcola Theatre, where residents will get the chance to quiz Hackney’s incumbent Mayor Philip Glanville and challengers for what is arguably the most influential job in the borough.

Ahead of next month’s mayoral election the Hackney Citizen is hosting a free debate at the Dalston venue from 2pm-4pm. 

The event will be a chance for residents to hear from representatives from parties fielding candidates in the Mayoral election about issues the council is responsible for.
