To celebrate National Park City week Groundwork London are opening up the doors to their community Freerange Garden in Hackney.
Expect a day of fun family garden activities and a celebration of Groundwork London's environmental and social regeneration projects across the capital.
A fun, free day out for the family during the summer holidays, activities include:
- Nature trail discovering the wildlife hidden within the garden including pond-dipping and bug patrols
- Meet Lower Clapton Road's resident chickens
- Climb to the top of the treehouse for nature inspired arts and crafts
- Discover all about herbs and even pot one and take it home with you
