For our next Restart Party we will be at Homerton Library. If you have a faulty hoover, slow laptop, misbehaving smartphone, or any faulty electrical or electronic device bring it along to the Restart Party and learn how to repair it!
As a bonus we are including a clothing repair workshop. If you want to learn about mending, darning, hand stitching and other clothing repair techniques then come along to the workshop lead by Barley Massey from Fabrications. The Clapton Knitters will also be there.
Take back control of your e-stuff, never feel victim to obsolescence again. We help you learn how to fix all kinds of devices, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts if necessary and more.
Don't leave it to the last minute and remember: we're happy to help you learn how to repair.
We are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair event.
Don't expect to drop your item off and pick it up later, expect to get stuck in to fixing it yourself with our help.
Please take responsibility for your own gadget, your own data, so do not forget to back-up your data.
Our clothing workshops are also skill-shares. Our experienced workshop leaders and volunteers will work with you to help you develop your skills as you learn to mend your own clothing. You are also welcome to share your skills with others.
