Introduction to Green Woodwork Courses at Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington
Green woodwork uses unseasoned timber straight from the tree and hand tools.
Over a series of structured sessions, participants will learn green woodwork basics including axe and knife work, and tool sharpening. At the end of these courses we hope participants will be confident to do green woodwork on their own at home, or at our regular open workshop sessions without tuition. Wood and tools provided. These courses are suitable for over 18s only, no previous experience required.
- Monday mornings 10am-1pm
4 weeks from May 5th - 26th
£40 per person
There will be more intro courses on Monday and Thursday mornings through the Summer. We are not running any weekend courses at the moment, but may do so again in the future. So if you’d be interested in weekend courses please get in touch.
To book: email londongreenwood@gmail.com with your name and date of the course you’d like to join and also send a cheque for full course fee (non-refundable if your place is confirmed) to-
