Grafting and Pruning 10 - 12.30. Grafting will be taught by Michelle Lawsaon, professional gardener who attended the Orchard Project's Urban Orchard Management course last year and is keen to share grafting skills learnt. Pruning and Intro to Forest Gardening will be taught by Marina O'Connell, bio-dynamic fruit grower and permaculture tutor from The Apricot Centre. Intro to Forest Gardening 1.15 - 5, focussing on challenges facing the Lordship Rec Orchard. Come for whole or just morning or afternoon. Pay what you feel happy to pay. Whole day suggested fees for salaried/high earner/salaried low earner/unemployed or on benefits:
Costs £20/£30 + depending on income, £10/£15 low waged, £5/£10 unemployed/on benefits.
Come dressed for the weather. Bring a packed lunch, lunch to share, or buy from the Cafe. You will go home with a baby apple tree, so please bring something to carry it in!
