Join whole foods chef and nutritionist Jayne Totty of Super Nourished for our Fresh From The Market workshop. The day begins at Stoke Newington Farmers Market (the UK’s only exclusively organic market) where you will shop for local, seasonal produce which you will then take to the Made In Hackney Kitchen to create a vegetarian feast of sumptuous but quick to prepare, nutritious dishes.
The workshop will cover:
-How to cook different veg to preserve flavour and nutrition
-How to use spices, herbs and dressings like a pro-chef
-The best ways to store and prepare fresh ingredients
-Meal and menu planning tips for your market purchases
-A pantry 101 so you know what your larder should include
Fee: *£65 (includes a free organic lunch and class ingredients)
*This fee is used to fund our vital program of free cookery courses to vulnerable and low-income community groups
