The area around the New River and Manor House has an absolute abundance of wildlife and plants and we want to teach you how to safely forage the tasty food that is available, if you know where to look! As winter is setting in this month we look at foraging around the Stoke Newington reservoirs. If you want to find out more then come along to the next PACT Foraging walk where you will learn about identifying plants safely, learning about which ones are edible, which have medicinal qualities and which ones should be avoided!
Everyone is welcome; so bring the family, your neighbours and friends. The walk should last about an hour and it is free
Meet outside the Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, N4 2HA, near the front doors, before the walk begins and heads along the New River Walk.
Note: Were sorry that the path is not accessible to wheelchairs and we advise that you wear suitable footwear in case of mud but hopefully the sun will shine!
