Event Description

Tree Musketeers have planted over 150 new trees on Hackney Downs in the last 10 years. Today Russell will be leading a workshop demonstrating formative pruning of young trees. Formative pruning aims to ensure a tree grows into a good form without weak forks, crossing branches or other problems.
