Event Description

Date: 18th February 2023

Time:  09.45 meeting up starting 1000 to approx. 3pm (or anytime you can spare is great)

Where: Canal and River Trust car park, Enfield Lock, Enfield, EN36BN

Floating pennywort is an Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) from North and South America and is threatening the habitat and native species of the River Lea and Lee Navigation.

Tasks:

On water in own paddle craft pulling out pennywort (with supervision and guidance) and on bank with rakes pulling it out on to the tarpaulins and distributing safely on banks
