Event Description

2 workshops:

Introduction to Fire by Friction

10.30 am - 12.30 pm

£20 per person

Bow drill Masterclass

2 - 5 pm

£35 per person

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make fire with just the materials you find in nature?

Do you have experience of the bow drill method and want to build on your skills?

Friction fire lighting is an exciting and empowering skill to learn.
The bow drill is just one of a large family of friction techniques for producing an ember, which can be placed into a tinder bundle and blown into flame.

These workshops are ideal for beginners and those with experience. They will be led by Dale Collett, he is one of the UK's leading experts on fire by friction.

Suitable for age 16 and over.

Places are limited. Please book in advance:

You can find out more about Dale on his website:
