Event Description

A community event held at Frampton Park Baptist Church to celebrate Fairtrade fortnight. A female coffee producer from Kenya will give a presentation about her home community and fellow coffee workers.

She will describe how fairtrade requirements help improve the working conditions and pay of the farmers and workers and how the fairtrade premium paid to them benefits their whole community. Followed by discussion and Q and A session.

Refreshments and fairtrade produce will be available thoughout the event.
