Event Description

Hackney Learning Trust are now beginning to promote the Eco schools programme.

Join us at Orchard Primary School, Hackney's ONLY Green Flag Eco school, for a meeting on the Eco School's programme and Climate Teaching in Hackney Schools.

We will be discussing the Eco schools 7 stages, 10 topics and getting sustainability into the everyday life of the school as well as into the curriculum, sharing ideas and experiences and the best way to take the programme forward.

As our young people keep reminding us, it is they who will bear the brunt of climate change and they have the right to learn about the causes, facts and mitigation of climate change.

We owe it to them and time is running out to meet their demands.
