Event Description

Come along and help me plant out the Bluebells from my installation at WW Gallery, in their new home on Hackney Downs. Collect some bluebells from WW Gallery on Queensdown Rd at 11am, walk across the Downs and help plant out below the Community Orchard. Or just turn up to the Downs and join in the fun. Help build a giant Willow Ball.

Tasters of Russet apple juice and Dalston Cola from the Russet Cafe. Bring your own picnic,  gloves and tools if you can.

Event organised by Penny Sadubin with support of Hackney Parks dept.

Never short of bluebells here - they multiply like mad in this old garden - but the Council's arboriculturist, Rupert Bentley-Walls is wild to have some and will plant native trees in our streets if he can get bluebells to underplant them with. Can you help or should I just send him to this event (if he's not yet found out about it already)?
