GreenPomelo Ltd. has teamed up with PanaceaFirstAid to give parents, grandparents and carers of any age children the opportunity to do this BABY & CHILD FIRST AID course. This is so you could be prepared, and have a chance to practice your First Aid skills, so you have the knowledge and confidence to help your child in an emergency.

It will teach you all important LIFE-SAVING techniques. We make your learning experience fun and practical. Please come along and join us, just 2 hours per course could make a difference between life and death. You are more than welcome to bring your little one with you too.

At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance valid for 3 years and an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid book to take home and a 10 mins break in between the hour.

There are 2 courses available for you:

Course 1: SAVE A LIFE: 10am - 12noon 

Preparing for Emergency
Assessing the situation
Dealing with unconscious baby and child
Dealing with non-breathing baby and child-CPR
Dealing with drowning
Treatment for choking in baby and child
How to treat burns & scalds

Course 2: ACCIDENTS & ILLNESSES: 1pm - 3pm

Learn how to control bleeding and shock,
how to treat head injuries,
how to recognize meningitis,
what to do if a child has a seizures or high body temperature,
how to treat poisoning, extreme allergic reaction, asthma attack and diabetes. 

It is more advisable that you complete Course 1 before you take on Course 2, but you are not required to do so. 

For those who wish, to take both courses on the same day will include... 
+ include a FREE lunch of a vegetarian soup and two different kinds of veggie and meat sandwiches
+ include a choice of FREE cup of tea or filtered coffee.
