I grew up in Hackney and has been a resident for around 20 years. I come from a campaigning and youth work background and am currently working for a national charity which supports the next generation of grassroots and emerging campaigners, leading on the young people programme and delivering training to over 600 young people a year.
In addition, I also takes a lead on the finance of the organisation, and have developed management accounts, produced revised budgets and a sound method of producing financial projections.
I'm trained in evaluation and monitoring, in particular, looking at the impacts of projects and activities and have recently led on a London-wide evaluation of election campaigning.
My motivations are sustainable development, meaningful regeneration policy and holds the belief that young people are part of our future world and any legacy that we leave behind will be to benefit them, and that sustainability encompasses young as well as old.
