ecoACTIVE Management Committee Members WANTED

COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANTED: ecoACTIVE Education is looking for some interested members of the local community to join our Management Committee (feel free to forward this to anyone you think might be interested).

ecoACTIVE is an education service with extensive expertise and experience in education for sustainable development for people of all ages in Hackney and the surrounding Boroughs. We have built a reputation for using innovative, hands-on, practical approaches to explore complex issues of sustainability through the use of our education resources, workshop activities, learning materials and In Service training for teachers.

ecoACTIVE is overseen by a Management Committee of local teachers and members of the community, who help shape our organisation and take responsibility for its financial and legal integrity. The Committee meets every 4-6 weeks for about 1½ hours at ecoACTIVE's office base in Hackney. Officers are elected from the Committee members at each Annual General Meeting. ecoACTIVE welcomes new members at any time. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on Monday 16th September from 4-6 pm, at Morningside Community Centre, Cresset Road, E9 6SJ. Please RSVP if you would like to attend, so that we can ensure we have plenty of refreshments available.
