Hackney Council put its Sustainable Community Strategy in place in 2008. The strategy includes key objectives such as poverty reduction, health and wellbeing, and the aspiration to "be a sustainable community, where all citizens take pride in and take care of Hackney and its environment, for future generations."
In 2011 the council has conducted a three-year review of how the strategy is delivering on it's priorities. This is our response to the review. Sustainable Hackney submission (pdf)
